Obsolete medium voltage air circuit breakers have many inherent problems: paper insulation, asbestos, large operating mechanisms, heavy weight, contact erosion, and many more. These problems can all be cured by utilizing CBS Maxi-Vac retrofits... and at a cost that is more economical than by replacement.
