Group CBS is adding to its lineup of CBS Field Services locations with a new office in Nashville, TN.

Located in East Nashville, the 1500-square-foot facility will be built out in the coming weeks to serve industrial, commercial, electrical cooperatives, and municipal power providers of the Tennessee Valley region.

The office will be led by Mose Ramieh, VP of business development for CBS Field Services and NETA IV technician, who returns to the region where he spent nearly 20 years working at electrical testing company Power & Generation Testing, Inc.

Mose will be joined by senior field technician Thomas Wire and field service technician Austin Reynolds, who is relocating from the Detroit office. Wire is a NETA III technician and U.S. Army veteran who attended the U.S. Army Prime Power School and is currently studying to be an electrical engineer. Reynolds is a NETA II technician who learned the trade performing electrical work in the Detroit steel mills.

“This is a great opportunity to expand our field services, grow legacy relationships, and support industrial and utility customers in the region,” said Mose. “Group CBS has an excellent team that provides support for projects across the country, and we’re excited to create a home base in the Tennessee Valley.”

The accredited NETA location will support nearby CBS Service Shops in Concord, NC, Matthews, NC, Forrest City, AR, St. Louis, MO, Gonzales, LA, and Lakeland, FL, as well as every other shop in North America.

The team will focus primarily on NETA field service, performing acceptance and maintenance testing on medium- to low-voltage distribution equipment, and utility substation equipment (to include relays, transformers, and circuit breakers). Additionally, the Nashville location will provide shop service work such as circuit breaker retrofit and reconditioning. The larger Group CBS locations will continue to handle remanufacturing. This new location will also enable electrical customers in the region to see the latest advancements in electrical test equipment, remote racking and switching tools, and other innovative electrical safety products.
