Mose Ramieh III was named president of Powertech Services, Inc., this month when the business became the newest affiliate to join Group CBS. In addition to more than two decades of industrial and utility maintenance expertise, Ramieh brings a passion for electrical safety, a history of employee training and empowerment, and a clear vision for future growth.
“As central Michigan’s leading NETA-accredited company, we have a strong foundation on which to build Group CBS’ value for new and existing customers throughout the region,” Ramieh said, adding that he expects demand for the company’s preventive maintenance, acceptance testing, engineering studies, remanufacturing, and safety training services will drive new opportunities to points east and south of Michigan.
Powertech Services has offered electrical testing and maintenance services for switchgear, substations, and other power distribution equipment, per ANSI and NETA standards, for more than 25 years. Following its introduction to Group CBS’ network of electrical equipment sales and service affiliates, it will further offer access to one of the nation’s largest inventories of electrical equipment.
In addition to Powertech Services’ institutional expertise and brand affiliation, Ramieh emphasizes the value of the company’s personnel. “It’s all culture and people, people and culture,” he noted.
As a NETA-certified Level 4 technician himself, Ramieh has dedicated his career to engaging and educating electrical workers in safety and electrical testing procedures. Expanding and leveraging that talent will be instrumental to his plans to expand the company’s reach and reputation.
